What does the word “dose” mean?
In the cannabis world, the word dose is used to describe the level of your desired effect. Most of the time in cannabis edibles and sublinguals (cannabis drops under your tongue.) this is measured by milligrams of THC or otherwise specified cannabinoid.
With Grandma Baker’s full spectrum extract inside of our edibles. It is important to remember, less is more. For the beginner, start with no more than a 10 mg dose or less and return for more after at least 1.5 hours. Is it taking too long? Eat an apple to aid in digestion this will help the cannabinoids start to break down in your gut allowing it to enter into your system at a quicker rate.
It is for this reason alone; we ask you to listen to Grandma.
When eating our treats, follow the sage cannabis industry advice of going “low and slow.” That means to go into the evening with a positive intention of what you want to gain out of the experience. Follow the cutting guide on the Grandma Baker’s card inside the package and slow down to enjoy the ride. By saying slow we mean, take your time, and if you aren’t feeling the desired effect wait at least an hour and a half before consuming more.
The ideal edibles dose depends on a lot of things, including tolerance, individual body chemistry, and the experience you’re looking for. But there are some basic guidelines that can help you find the right dose of cannabis edibles, which are measured in milligrams (mg).
We at Grandma Baker’s hope you are HIGH AND HAPPY.
